Overview

The DEPARTMENT OF PHILOSOPHY, SOCIOLOGY, PEDAGOGY AND APPLIED PSYCHOLOGY (FISPPA) coordinates teaching and research in a wide area of humanities and social sciences. Founded in 2012, today it gathers more than 280 people including faculty, researchers, scholars and technical-administrative staff. The wide range of interests and the interdisciplinary vocation make the Department a rich and stimulating cultural institution, which generates more than 500 publications per year. The Department is responsible for many bachelor and master programs, both in Italian and English, as well as three PhD programs, postgraduate courses and second-level masters. The Department is also particularly active in the dissemination of scientific knowledge and in other activities of public engagement.
